I'm leaving SD this afternoon after work and heading to Vegas. Staying at my Dad's tonight. Then we'll head to Laughlin tomorrow.

Only saw two Chp today on way down. One setting back on on ramp to 58 east as you leave Bakersfield and one with a bike stopped about 40 miles west of needles on highway 40. Safe travels

Thumbs up

Did everyone have a good time during the run?

The Tropicana issued an early bird package in their hotel rooms for next year's run. A lot cheaper if you book early.

The package is Thursday, Friday and Saturday Night for $239.99.
1-800-343-4533, mention Promo T-2265.

That price is only good through May 6, so if you're going to book it, book it quickly.

Hey Nikki!

Just got back home this evening from the River Run. Had a great time! Stayed at the Tropicana this time for the first time. Right smack in the middle of all the action on the strip and vendors in both directions. Easy access in and out of the hotel and I did the Secure Valet Parking right outside the front door fenced with personnel 24/7 checking bikes in and out for ID. I will say that I think I had one of the BEST STEAK dinners I have ever had in the Tropicana Steakhouse. NY Strip 14 oz for $30 bucks that included some great breads, a super salad prepared tableside from the "salad cart" and a baked potato that rocked! It was nice to get out for a morning ride and return to the hotel to hit the pool then dine followed by some vending and people/bike watching out on the strip. Plenty of protection on hand in Laughlin and I never felt uncomfortable any where at the rally. Strictly no colors allowed. We are gonna take advantage of the promo for next year. Its a great price considering I booked this year through the Dal-Con website and paid $389 for the TWO NIGHT package they offered. You can cancel within 72 hours of the first night with no charge and they dont hit your for the total in advance, so no sweat making the reservation this far in advance. Good Lord willing, I will make it back next year, so this is a great deal! Laughlin is fun and a great rally, not to big not to small, great weather and friendly people for the most part. Except for the ******* who parked practically up my *** at a gas pump one day in Kingman. What a douchebag. Some neat Tshirt designs this year too!

Thank you Nikki, I just finished booking the package. Looking forward to next year. Great price.
