my fiance is headed out there for a wedding and is looking for a nice hotel to stay in while she is there any suggestions would be helpful. no dives please. downtown area, gaslamp quarter area. and no she cant stay with you.

 

The Hilton in the gas lamp quarter is my recommendation. It's located next to the trolley station, so it's just a walk away. There's a steakhouse at ground level called, "Lou & Mickeys", which has probably the best rib-eye steak I've had since I can remember. It's valet parking only.

 

ok if she can't stay with me then the down town area if full of nice hotels as mentioned the hilton is good
