A bunch of us are riding out to Pioneer Town this Sunday, Jan 21.

Pioneer Town is an old movie set located just outside of Yucca Valley, and Joshua Tree. They used to film black & white westerns there. Pappy & Harriets is the local bar & grill there, and they serve great stuff.

If anyone would like to ride up there with us, or maybe meet us there and hang out, that would be cool.

We're going to stage up at Bob's Burgers in Murrieta, at 9:00am for breakfast, with kick stands up at 10:00am. Bob's Burgers is located at 39509 Los Alamos Rd, Murrieta, CA. Here's a Google map link:

I imagine we'll probably arrive at Pappy & Harriets around 12:00pm.

Well, I guess I can make the 6 mile ride up from Yucca Valley. (LOL) Actually I spend far too much time and money in Pioneertown. It's been biker friendly since it was the "Cantina" back in the 70's. Park out back where we all keep an eye on each others bikes. Warning! It will be COLD! Night time temps have been in the teens to low 20's.

All in all, a good day of riding. Windy down the I-10, and even more windy down the 62. Yucca Valley was very chilly. Had a lot of fun at Pappy & Harriets. We had 8 bikes on the ride.

I met "cougarmike" there. It was good to meet you Mike.
