Started at Yellow Basket in Menifee. Took Newport Rd to Domenigoni Pkwy, all the way to Sage Rd. Sage Rd down to Hwy 79, took a break. Then took Hwy 79 to Mesa Grande Rd, and then down to The Hideout. Took Hwy 76 to Mobil Station on I-15. Then Hwy 76 to Mission Rd into Fallbrook, and lunch at Denny's.

 

Boy I am Jealous!!! Our New Years Ride is called the Frosty Knuckle, It wasn't that cold it was however raining cats and dogs and we had seven bikes show up. Three of them were two-up. Good job ladies!!! We probably did not log the miles you guys did but we had a better meal than Denny's. Homemade chili!!! Happy New Year everyone!!!

 

There were very few restaurants and bars open on New Year's Day, so Denny's was a last resort.

 

would loved to have gone but this cold weather has kept me inside the house I know I'm a woos but I moved to ca for warm weather so hope to see you all next time hope you plane another ride that start that close to home for me or maybe some day all the san diego riders can get together for a days riding .. by the way anybody planning on yuma or big bear this year or even hollister

No big deal, just jealous of all that great weather.

 

The next time we plan a ride down into SD county, perhaps you could ride up and meet us somewhere. A lot of rides that me and my friends do, however, are not planned. We just meet somewhere for breakfast, and then decide where to ride.

As for Yuma, I have some friends who are planning to go there. My wife and I will probably go as well. Not sure about Hollister though. We usually do the Redwood Run, which is just a month earlier. I'm sure we'll be in Big Bear, we usually ride up there a lot anyways.

 

last year there were about 8 of us that rode up to big bear together maybe again this year wife and I usually do yuma we stay at the yuma cabana most every time
