Anyone in Central CA or Santa Cruz area here?
I am thinking of taking a weekend up the coast to Santa Cruz and am looking for options on rides while I am there. I have been to the area several tiems before but am looking for the best options. I will be riding up HWY 1. Also for Best Westerns in the area that you recommend.

I once took road from Paso Robles to Hunter Leggitt to Carmel Valley, Good ride.
Some Az riders are gonna do one better but have never on road, Hunter Leggitt to just below Big Sur. They'll catch the view. They have a thread in Southwes events.
Say still stacking coins but will contact on air ride system. Be Safe

From Santa Cruz take Hwy 1 north to Hwy 84(La Honda Rd.).
Follow 84 to Hwy 35 and you will find Alices Restaurant.
A lot of bikers hang out there on the weekends.
On the way back to Santa Cruz, take Hwy. 35 to Hwy. 9 to Boulder Creek.
Nice senic route.
Another great ride is to take Carmel Valley Rd. off of Hwy 1 to or from Greenfield which is off Hwy 101.
Or if your not in a hurry to go back, from Santa Cruz go to Hollister then take Hwy 25 east to Hwy. 198 to Coalinga. Then you can take I5 south.
