Default San Diego Bike Shop

Hi All, just moved back out to San Diego and I'm looking for a decent bike shop. I'm not usually a big fan of the dealerships and I'm looking to get a little servicing done. Living in the Pacific Beach area but would be willing to travel a bit for a good shop.

Thanks

You may want to check these guys out. They do service and will detail your bike for only $85. You get a free t-shirt with a service.

Cycle Visions does do good work. I haven't had any problems at SD Harley, they've always taken care of me.

Personally, I won't use San Diego HD except for a burger. I'll ride 20 extra miles to buy just a bolt. Long story. Of the HD shops, El Cajon or Biggs.

I use Kennedy's Custom Cycle in Oceanside, but then again I ride an Evo. Old school type people and shop. Watch out for Bill, he'll talk your ear off and then start on the other.

There are probably at least a dozen good shops in the county that have good reputations. Since you don't list what bike you ride it makes it difficult to say which one will be best for you and your ride. Kennedy's in Oceanside is a good rec as Poway Pete says. I personally wouldn't go to Biggs in San Marcos even if the service was free. But that's a personal thing also. If you like a small shop with very personal service there is a trike dealer in San Marcos that is owned by a long time Harley expert. It's a very small shop that will give you very good one on one service. His name is Rix at Dusk to Dawn. 760-744-1688

Thanks for all the input. I ride an 07 Street Bob that has been in storage for a while and is due for the 15,000 service. Can't wait to get back out on the road...
