I've only been over there in my Jeep, but have you gone on any of the roads from Baker to Sumpter and Granite to Ukiah? It's been a few years since I have been over there, but last time I saw, I liked that area, some pretty country in that area.

p.s. the old cabbage hill highway runs alongside the freeway. I've taken the old road through Kamela down to Misson. It winds around a little but it's good practice.

Thanks John, very much.

Springer, I have ridden Hells Canyon to Dayville via the Sumpter and Austin Junctions. Beautiful country!

Columbia Gorge here. Lots of hot riding around here, but if you get away from the river, and gain some elevation, it gets cooler.

Howdy Ultrarider, there is a lot of nice country side down there. I used to travel the gorge a lot when I went down to visit my folks in Beaverton. I always liked riding through the gorge and seeing the Columbia.

Eugene Oregon here. I ride out of Eugene with my Road Glide. Wonderful back roads that hold beautiful rides! I live in Hawaii but go to Oregon a great deal to see my kids and to ride.

Welcome Gunz and Chaplain Wayne!

Chaplain Wayne, we live in Oregon (near Mt. Hood) and spend a lot of time in Hawaii! In my opinion, Hawaii and Oregon are the two most beautiful states in the union! My mom was born in Hawaii, and my dad in Oregon, so I feel like I have roots in both places. While we love Oregon, we might move to Hawaii once we don't have to work so much. What island do you live on? Do you also have a place in Eugene? I went to high school in Eugene (WHS) my wife went to Springfield High.
