Vegas to San Diego in February.....weather?

If it were me, I'd plan something like this..

I have riden some of these roads. Others are on my todo list. This covers the type of roads and scenary I enjoy. For stops, I'd plan on Lauglin, Palm Springs, and Julian at least.
Other small out-of-the-way places, I don't know.
Someone in SD county may have better input for that area.
For weather in Feb, I'd guess rain gear and light layered clothing would be enough.
Have a good trip whatever you decide.

Well I have ridden from San Diego to Vegas and back in early March. It can get cold if you don't ride in the heat of the day. You will need cold weather gear for close to freezing temps. If there is clear weather it can be in the 80s during the day. Sometimes hotter. And yet still drop down to the 30s at night. Try to set aside a few days to ride in the local San Diego mountains. Julian, Laguna, Pauma Valley, are real nice that time of year.
