Agreed, had a great time, news here reporting less people than last year, I thought it was a bigger crowd.

Late to posting, but it's been a fun, stressfull, crazy two weeks.
Two hugh plans I was not able to do on my River Run vacation. 1) run to willow beach with the nomads and 2) ride thru AZ,UT,NV for my return trip. My pop joins us in AZ for the river run and had a health problem which landed him in ICU the whole weekend and then some.
I rode out on the 19th and returned home on the 27th.
Put about 700 miles on the bike the first two days riding out there, to hoover dam (stopped at willow beach), and to kingman. Damn cold in Kingman.
Pop drove out on Thursday and had to go straight into ER. From that point I was pretty much set on staying close to town.
Ended up towing my bike home and put total of about 1200 miles on 'er for the week.
Some things I did experience...
Lots of drinks
Not lots of sleep
Hang'n with my uncle
Hang'n with Hells Angels (not by choice, and not for long)
Talking my way out of a ticket
Havasu Honeys
Oatman A$$'s
Ghost of a town Oatman on Monday after the crowds left
Lots of Loosers Lounge (too much actually)
52 F temps 97 F temps Annnnd 102 F temps
Quite different than I had planned, but quite an adventure anywho.
If you want to see a very few uninteresting pictures, here's my PB acct and go to the laughlin river run 2010 folder

Hey Chris ( HS ), wow that sounds like a challenging vacation brother... hope all is better with your pops....
Glad you made it back safe and in one piece nonetheless.
I also went to Hoover and Willow Beach, so beautiful...
I didn't hang out with the folks I planned on either ( like, SBB, and others.... :-(
We gotta make a run sometime soon, Starting Gate or whatever bro.

Yo Ed
Pops had an Implanted Cardiac Defibulator 'installed' and is doing as good as we can hope for, for now. Thanks.
I'm heading back to Laughlin next week to retrieve his bike.
Check this out. I'm planning to head there tonight (if the wife comes thru with the OK)
