You must live in the good part on MN (either that, or I used to live in the wrong part of MA). I generally put the bike away the first week in November, and considered myself lucky if I could take it out again by tax day. Yeah, our roads are full of Darwin Award candidates, but I'd still rather be here than back in the northeast again.

 

Took a nice ride yesterday with some Nomads...

We started on the north side of the Santa Monica Mountains and entered them at Topanga Canyon Blvd., passed by the Rock Store on the way to Ventura, exited on Potrero Road and ended up along the coast at San Buenaventura ( Ventura ).

What a beautiful sight looking over that coastline with not a cloud in the sky, the sun rays warming ya up in a cool breeze.... had beer and a tasty sandwich with great company.... is SoCal the spot to be or what?

 

Nice day yesterday, eh?

I road my pop's bike and hung a For Sale sign on it at two places.

met up with some friends at the LB cycle swap from about 8 to 11. Then off to cook's. Cook's was PACKED ! I think there was a toy run that ended there.
Met a few more friends. They continued on down to Swallows Inn in SJC, I headed home about 2pm.

BTW, I finally got a pic that was taken the night I won the prize at Tx Loosey's.

i just tucked my baby in for the winter...probably could have squeezed some more riding out of it (got up to the low 50s today when the sun was out) but i was really anxious to get started on my winter projects.

i really, really, really hate all you guys...

it's only going to be in the low 80's here in San Diego for the rest of the week.,I think it may get into the 70's on the weekend,,,,,,,

 

I plan to meet my friend there at SG again tonight. He should be riding in with another.

 

What a nice day today.... Rode out to Corona to see about a Super Glide... no winter gloves, no balaclava and no leather jacket.... just the warm sun and a warm breeze all the way there and back... stopped at East Side Mario's in Lakewood for a Spinach Lasagna, very tasty.

So this is why SoCal real estate is in such demand... it feels like summer and it's really winter time.

Yes, tonight I'll be heading out with a buddy and his new Deluxe to TSG.. we'll be leaving at 630, should arrive 7-715.

Sorry about the elements out in your neck of the woods ToastMan, but I revved my engine today for ya and will have a beer in your honor tonight... but hey, I'll be riding in mid 50 degree weather tonight, so it's not all perfect ya know, but bearable and doable.

Oh, I saw this gal on the 91 east with her car all done up with that birthday graffiti stating "I'm legal now, just turned 18"

Wow, way to advertise yourself there sweetie... talk about an easy target. I'm sure her daddy is proud of her 8-)

 

so nice, I rode to work yesterday and today. can't beat it with a rubber noodle

should get up to 55 tomorrow, might take pops' street glide out for a blast with the little lady...
