Anything I can't do myself I have kk6pg help me. He knows his stuff. Helped with Cam swap, bar swap, etc...Thinking about an engine build with his help one of these years. But...you better get him before he comes out of retirement.

We'll see. It said 5-8 days, so I am leaning on the 8 days side. I'll let you know.

You might want to try Jim at Harley Housecalls. He comes to your home with a van outfitted like a machine shop inside, works fast and clean, will answer your questions. He's not cheap (though a lot cheaper than the dealers), but nothing is more convenient. And, if he says he'll be there at a certain time, you can set your clock by him. 818.335.9662

Hey all, For the most part I try and do my own service ( doing my 10K service this weekend), but I am def new at this. In this case I need a new rear tire, and I have no idea how to do that. Figure its good to have a good indy shop in case I need it.

For tires: MC Tire Works, 9025 Sepulveda, North Hills
(818) 893-7806

Second-generation shop, all they do is motorcycle tires.
