Shumate in Spokane just laid everybody off and closed its doors until new onwers take over.

 

Ouch! That sucks for the folks that work there. You guys have another dealer close by?

 

Yeah it sucks for some of the nice people there, but the salesman are pretty arrogant. I was in there 3 weeks ago and they wanted $1500 above MSRP on an 09 demo SG. Tried to tell me they had 3 pepole lined up to buy the same bike. It was still there last weekend. No wonder they went out of business. I had to drive 300 miles into Montana to get my deal which was $3000 less than Shumate.

 

We had a blast and there was talk of doing this again next year. If you can make it by www.pinespringsresort.net I HIGHLY recomend it. Len and Lisa were awesome hosts. They call you by name, feed you great food at a more than reasonable cost and do everything they can to make you feel at home. In attendance we had....

This meet really sucks.........364 days to go till the next one!!!! Guy's, I don't know bout ya'll but I had a great time!!! Great to meet everyone..share stories, beers and cigars. Len's a great host and is very reasonable on everything he provided. Food was great, camp sites were discounted...$6.50 for both nites. I'm all for makin this an annual event. Might be fun to reserve sites for the Back Yard Blues Festival. Just a thot, but share your thots. Again, good times, good times. Geez

 

Probably Trippster's still riding home... The award for the longest ride in. It was great! Next year I'll have to use a vacation weekend. I was just getting into the groove. Sounds like I missed Lonerindustries & wife. Sorry about that. I really enjoyed getting to meet and hang with you guys. Nice to be able to put a face with a bike! Not a lame guy or bike in the bunch.

I look forward to seeing all the pictures you guys took!

Just got the bike unloaded and laundry started... someone's gotta do it, and the dogs flat refuse to do laundry...

Was just a great time guys... kicking back with some beers and the biggest worry was who was going to tell their story next.... we could not have asked for a better campround and hosts, they were just friggin awesome.

Let me get a little more settled here in a bit, and I'll get my pics loaded in....

 

I had a blast and put on 700 miles this weekend.

Great group of guys and great roads to ride. I must be getting old because I was so flippin tired on Saturday night. This is a yearly must.
