Sounds like a lot of fun. Got the notice from the hog chapter last night and the OL says she's up for it.
I'm a little concerned about the final stop, The Hill Street Cafe. I'm surprised it hasnt been renamed to the Drive in Cafe, due to all the runaways that come off the mountain and park in the front door.

just keep in mind, the route is currently subject to change. the map and info listed on the website i made is from last year, and i plan on pre-riding the route at the end of this month to determine where I can make some changes...to change it up a bit.
there are only a few spots, so it is somewhat difficult...but we shall see.
all else fails, we have the tried and true, and it is still a great ride.
glad to hear some folks will try to make this one.

Whew.
Things are beginning to come together for this years Twisties ride, and in a serious way!
This weekend i did a lot of riding, discovered new roads I have not personally been on, received suggestions for new routes, and ridden even more roads I have not been on.
I have been from the mountains and valleys to the ocean and further on, and back again.
I have changed the route slightly, and may change the lunch location as well to something possibly better than the Deer Lodge.
I'm going out again next weekend to Pre-ride the route with some folks, and if things work out well, i will be posting a map on the twisties website (and here most likely) for folks to get a lookie at.
I promise you this tho...
from the changes I am making this year...
If you haven't been on this ride before in the past, you really really owe it to yourself to make it to this one. How many rides can you possibly ever go on, ride about 400 miles or so, and never hit a freeway??!
This years Twisties...should be titled "Extreme Edition"

Just a possibility...but here is a temporary map of what may just be the 2009 Tour of the Twisties.
390 miles and not a single freeway!
Visit the tour of the twisties webpage for an updated MAP!
