Been suggested that we San Diego riders get together with the SoCal group (aka Nomads) for a possible meet and greet when they come to our neck of the woods (Julian) possibly on the 21st of December. Any takers?

Since I'll be part of the group in question, looking forward to it! Don't just make it a meet-n-greet back-slapping though... ride with us at least part of the way, or clue us in to some "hidden gems" that we furriners might not know about. If not Julian, what do you think about a ride along hwy 94, possibly with a stop at the Barrett Junction Cafe? BTW, do you go by Pete or David?

More of a meet n ride thing. Can wait for the back slappin for a food stop. Lots of places to go around here. Thinking about meeting in the Temecula area and coming in that way via the back roads. Heard talk about some spending the night somewhere. Just need to keep communicating to find out what you guys want to do/go and go from there.
There's 3 ways out of Temecula and 1 you probably haven't been on. Depending on the weather (rain within the last week) De Luz would be the best with 7 stream crossings up into Fallbrook. Then down to catch 76 thru Pala towards Julian and then up and over to 94 (Sounds like a run for the Border to me).
Lots depends on what time we meet up and where.
Maybe after the 1st of the year, you can meet and ride with us up into yur neck of the woods.

Meeting point is actually Biggs HD in San Marcos as we will be coming down the 5 then taking the 78 across and coming up thru Ramona.

Guesstimate is arrival @ Biggs is somewhere between 10:30 - 11am.

Hmm, for some reason I didn't get any thread notifications until the last post from pp. Looks like the meeting point is mutually agreeable - good! Now we just wait and see what mother nature dishes out before deciding on Saturday or Sunday.
