How is Ortega with all that ongoing road construction?

I went last year and really enjoyed the drags. Are they not having the drags this year? I looked on the schedule and it was not included and also looked at pomona raceway and couldn't find anything happening.

You're right. Looks like no drags this year. But flat track is cool

From what I heard (I know, heresay sucks), the NHRA had something to do with it, which is why CBW and the Love Ride got bumped to the weekend of the 25th. The NHRA pays the bills at Pomona, so whatever they say goes.

I did notice the Tubes are playing on Sunday. Havent seen them since the late 70's. What do you want from Life?

Went to the Love Ride when it was in Castaic 3 or 4 times. Was 45 bucks a head, then 55, last time it was 65. $130 bucks for a 1 day event started getting a bit steep.....even with the free lunch and show.

When was the last time you went to a concert? I paid 45 a piece for tickets 30 years ago to see Lynerd Skynerd. Paid 120 a piece to see the Stones last year. And I didnt get lunch or drinks, had smuggle my own in.
75 to see Greg Allman last year the day of the ride was cheap in my book, with a crappy lunch. Pre-registered this year for 70, and I think its a deal. Keep in mind this is charity. You're not buying anything tangible.
