9/14 Whittier to Del Mar Ride

9/14 Whittier to Del Mar Ride
Leaving Whittier Sunday 9/14 to hook up with FreedmRider for lunch in Del Mar.

Meeting at the Starbucks at the corner of Norwalk and Beverly Blvds in Whittier @ 9:30.am then head down the 5 to Del Mar with a stretch at the rest stop by Pendleton along the way.
Coming back north we'll take the coast route (Old 101/ 521) thru a half dozen little beaches back to Oceanside, turning to a short ride on the 5 around Camp Pendleton then back on the coast at Dana Point and up the coast back to Seal Beach and the 405/605.
Everyone is invited.
Post up if you need us to look out for you.

If anybody in Orange County is planning on coming along for this ride we could meet up at the Denny's that's on Chapman in between the 5 and 57, staging at 945 and leaving by 10ish

Great ride today. met many new people - good to put faces to (user)names.
Thanks for being our ride leader today Primo - I can tell my u-turn skills are improving :-)

Great turnout today everybody.
11 riders down to Solana Beach and 1 more once there.
Nice to meet you new guys; John, Joe and Russ and to have Scott and Jack along for the first time.
Scott: Sorry for the confusion and for losing you on the way back after lunch.
Satch: Thanks for finding a place to eat and saving us that section on the patio.
Hope to see everyone on the road again soon,

P.S. Keep an eye out here in the Pacific Forum for future rides. We'll be doing an overnighter Nov 8-9th
to visiting HD dealers in Visalia, Fresno, Merced, Los Banos and back down south.
