if your riding all the way up to Merced you might as well take hwy 49 north. \\;\\\\\\; Jamestown is a cool little town and you might as well keep going north and hit all the cool old bars in Sutter's Creek, Jackson and end up in Placerville. \\;\\\\\\; very cool old towns with really great bars. \\;\\\\\\; if you come that far might as well ride through Sac tons of dealerships here. \\;\\\\\\; then take I-5 home to La in about 5-6 hours.  \\;\\\\\\; \\; If you end up in my area i would definitely give you the tour of the area dealerships and biker bars.

Yo Primo, stay in touch with the SoulBrothers MC (www.soulbrothersmc.com).
Every spring they do a "Halfway run" where riders from So Cal and Nor Cal meet in the middle at Fresno. This year they sponsored a comedy show, a picnic and a dance over the course of the weekend.
And as for Los Banos, the losbanosrally.com is taking place this weekend. It's hot and smoky up here right now so I can't really recommend it unless you're coming up for Hollister, but when September rolls around, it's your noise to make.
Golden Valley HD in Los Banos is a sponsor of the rally. I've never been to the Merced dealership, but the one at Visalia is staffed by cool folks, and frequented by good eye-candy.
