West Coast Thunder in Riverside (Mon. 5/26), who's going?
Here's a link for you all to check out,
http://www.westcoastthunder.com/
and my mini review -
I went with a friend last year last year for the first time and the ride was a lot of fun, it's a full blown parade route with a police escort and over 7,500 bikes. There werepeople standing along the way taking pictures, cheering and waving, the ceremonywasvery touching and the fly over was really cool. They fed us donuts for breakfast at the dealer andchicken for lunch at the downtown event, I guess they could have had a few more vendors to check out but the music, rafflesand scenery was G(.)(.)D!
Maybe I'll see some of you there this year.

We'll be there Nasty. It's a good ride and the cause is even greater in MHO. From what I understand the funds will be applied to building a full size replica of the Viet Nam Wall Memorial that is in D.C. So the West Coast will have the Memorial at the Riverside National Cemetary as well.
The HOG chaper I belong to ( With Skip Fordyce Harley ) puts this on each year and I understand there will be more vendors for the ride this year. It's a moving ceremony, a tribute to those who gave all to keep us free. As a VET, I feel drawn to honor those brave men & women. My brother a VET as well, is laid to rest there, as will I be one day.
God Bless the USA[sm=americanasmiley.gif]
Ride safe, and often

Hey Mike,
Haven't seen you in a while, hope you can make it out. Thanks for the compliment on the bike,it's still the same Road King but I did change it up some since I rode with you last. In the past couple weeks I did the V & h true duals and fuel pak, fairing, front end, wheels, rotors, tires, and a little pin striping plus I'm still waiting on my fairing pouches, windshield trim and oil vent line to show up, ups ground sucks!...So far I'm happy with the way it's turning out though

Been the last 4 years, but have only ridden in the parade once.Like Stellis said it's pretty scary.Lots of crazy riding going on.Now I'm one of those on the side waving as the parade goes by.I'll be parked by Gless Ranch on Van Buren Bl.Wave as you go by.

I think I might join you at Gless. Not sure I'm up for riding in it yet and I don't want my new Sporty being rear-ended!
ps - did you realized your number of posts are 666?
Coincidence?
