For So Cal Riders:

Who has ridden Cajalco Rd between the 15 and the 215 and/or St Hwy 74 between the 15 and 215?

Are either/ both worth riding?

Experiences?

Was looking at Yahoo maps looking for a roundabout route down to Tom's Farms instead just coming down the 15 from the 91.

I've done the 74- Ortega Hwy route from west of the 15 but never went any further east.

Nothing special either of them not very scenic. bunch of tweeker houses along the wayits mostly all repaved on cajalcoIf you looking for a good ride take the 74 all the way to palm desert. that ride kicks ***. Done it lots of times. Very scenic.

I can understand not wanting to take the Super Slab all the way to Tom’s Farm if there is another way. Cajalco is mostly straight away 2 lane, 55mph. Not much to look at, the Lake Mathews area is nice but the pavement is a little rough to the 15. Hyw 74 through Paris is 4 lanes at 30mph then opens up to 6 lanes at 65mph all the way till just before Lake Elsenore and the 15. If you want a way to get from the 15 & 74 to Tom’s without taking the freeway, let me know. You have already been on all the roads you will need, When Dinger and his Crew came down this way the last time and we all rode from Hell’s Kitchen to Tom’s Farm. Good Luck
