I was wonering if Anyone out there is going to The Idaho State HOG Rally before going to the National HOG Rally? If you are lets get together for a drink and say Hello.

Yes, there are 12 of us I know of, from our HOG club here in Yuba City, North. CA. We would love to hook up and meet as many fellow Harley lovers as possible. I don't know our entire route yet. I will post as it gets closer and let all know. Thanks and hope to see ya, Gene

We are going to the Idaho rally on the way to Billings. UltraGeezerglide from Tucson is going to meet us in NM and then we will all ride to Boise.

We would sure like to get together with anyone on the forums that is interested.

I think it will be a great time. I think we are staying at the Doubletree. I am taking mike my in for repairs tonight. I have had a 6 month battle with a starting issue and everything on the bike is new and the starter still cant turn the engine over. 3 new starters and they all do the same thing. I give up. This is the first time I will be taking my bike in. I do all of the work on it and Bruce is near by to help if I need it. Usually muscle to get bolts loose. Any way as time gets closer. I will try to get the getogether going. I have enjoyed this site alot and have had some help fixing things. I woul enjoy meeting a few and put some faces to the names.

PS I hope to change the color of my bike before we go. It is currently Hammerite Green and I am changing it to Hammerite Purple. I gotta be different.

The last I heard there are over 400 people pre registerd so if you have not registered yet , better do it as they only take 600. The hotels are filling fast so I will be getting all of my reservations done today and tomorrow. We all will have a great time. The flywheels for Bruce's bike went in today so as soon as they come back I will be on it. It will tahke me about two weeks and I should be able to fire it up. His 84 Custom Sporty is a real power house. I got it on eBay and put 600 miles on it when the Pinion shaft broke. It has been torn apart and sitting in boxes since July 4, 2005. I cant wait to fire it up again. Later.

I don’t do the HOG rallies. (Too many stinkin’ rules) But you’ll be passing through Pocatello, where I live. Idaho Falls is 45 miles north of here. I am a member, but I am also a member of the local trap shooting club, archery club, Mule Deer Foundation, Elk Foundation, Duck’s Unlimited, and a devout supporter of a few local watering holes. I don’t have much extra time. I would be interested in meeting some of the forum members though.

 

We will be in Idaho Falls The 28th of June. We are staying at the Guesthouse motel. Look us up, We might have some free time for a get together.
