Food Vending: Hollister & Los Banos July 11 - 13
Hi, I've been invited to vend food at the Los Banos Rally in July. I'm wondering about how well Los Banos is attended, compared to Hollister. Do riders travel between venues? My costs are about 1/3 less to set up in Los Banos, which is where I'm leaning, unless I hear too many negative reports. At this point, I can vend food at either rally. Where?
How was food last year at either venue? I'll be serving Cajun Jambalaya (with fish, shrimp, pork & chicken), Beignets (Cajun fry bread), Cajun Crab Cakes, Corn Dogs, Cheesecake, Breakfast items and who knows what else. What do you want to eat? Where?
All replies considered and thanks for the support which will be compensated in a gastronomical way, big time! I don't mess around with cheap ingredients! - Thanks - Hal

I asked a riding buddy of mine who happens to live in Los Banos. He and his wife say that there's not much of an opportunity for vendors and that most people are focused on Hollister.
You _may_ get some spillover, but it looks like a bit of a gamble.
I hope this helps.

Hey foodvendor, how you doin? Now that Hollister has finally seen the light and hired professional promoters to put on the event it's probably the best place to be for you. Last year was packed...I live about 20 minutes away, so I go every day it's on. Good luck, I'll be looking for your booth! Cajun Jambalaya (with fish, shrimp, pork & chicken) & Cajun Crab Cakes.
