What are those funny looking 4 wheeled things next to all those bikes?
You know, I thought this photo looked familiar. I thought to myself, this guy stayed in the same hotel...wait a minute...I took that picture!

...and if you scroll back just a little bit further, you'll see that I grabbed this shot from another Laughlin thread...and thanked you for it! [sm=proof.gif]

me and 2 other guys are riding up on thurs in am out of the pasadena area. that route 66 option sounds sweet for the ride back. last year coming on sunday it was over 109 degrees!! so stock up on the gatorade! i still havent gotten my room but looking at getting it this weekend. i went to oatman last year, but it was @ night and they were closed. (it was my 1st time in oatman) pitch dark so i didnt see much. just a huge dirt hill, is that where we park? i got a harley not a dirt bike. lol. looking forward to the trip. i have AAA so in case of emergency. anybody know where the wet t shirt is going to be? last year it was canceled.

It's gettin' close!

-Lou, I've got the Chatterbox installed on your helmet!

-Andrew, you'll need to swing by and see if that 3/4 helmet fits your noggin!

-Ray, Johnny, Lou...anyone else we all need to chip in for supplies you've purchased.

We'll need to meet up this Sunday and plan the following:

-A"full-dress" ride in the next week. Please everyone, get your windshields on!

-Meeting place and roll-out time for the trip, planned rest stops and miscellaneous topics needing discussion.

Today was a full-dress day with Andrew and Lou. We had our windshields, bags,3/4 helmets equipped with Chatterboxes and IPods & MP3 players. We rode out to Pomona Valley HD and I purchased a T-Bag for my passenger backrest.

We then stuffed ourselves silly at a nearby diner and then jumped on the 10 E to the 15 NE and back to the 210 W all the way to downtown L.A.. It was really hard to leave the 15 as we could've ridden all the way to Las Vegas! The bikes felt great at 80 mph. A little buffeting from the windshield but the riding was effortless.

Going to keep the bike dressed up for next week's ride. Might need a forklift to load me on the bike after another pig out like today!

Can't wait to hit that road!

NExt week I'm bringing my bag stuffed with clothes to get an idea of how it will feel for the trip. I had a greqat time and boy does that windshield make for a luxurious ride. Chatterboxes are great too. I can't wait.

OK guys my two cents, for all of you going throught Amboy 29 Pams to Needles, make sure you tank up at 29 Palms. there is no gas once you leave untill you get to Needles. Last Two years there were so many riders low on fuel at Amboy, and from what I know there is no gas there. He may have a little emergency gas but its 3 times the normal.

Have fun and be safe. Oh and finally I will riding a Harley to the run.

David
