RE: Cycle World Int'l MC Show - Long Beach 12/7-12/9
That was a full day of riding, that's for sure.
Those bellsmay justwork, maybe... that kid was disturbed when he heard what designknd told'em... and the girl just kept a grin ( huh? )... guess she was as DUMBfounded as the kid.
That sure was a greasy burger at Walkers man. It tasted good, and it was done as soon as we found our table. But I got some of that cheesy burger grease on my hand, and the smell wouldn'tcome off no matter how many times I put that orange mechanics stuff on it.
Overall, it was great to ride another bike...the fat bob was pretty nice, had good low-end torque, quickly leans for you, the pegs were in the perfect spot, I would simply have the grips come back another 2" for me... the road glide; it was docile and different since I couldn't see the road directly ahead of my front tire... but no wind on my chest, which was a very welcomed difference. The thought "trade up" keeps entering my mind ( it has been suggested ). I am looking at a couple things online, ebay, thinking of something with a big front fender with deer bars so I can bump SUV's out of my way! Any suggestions,.. anyone?
That was a cool game dude!"Battle of the Bikers." I can't believe those little kids beat us. I think that's because the video bike was unresponsive.
Overall, we weathered a bit of cold hands, the scare of rain, and had fun mingling with the young models at the entrances. Oh, and I bought my first accessory: a tool bag. Do I reallyhave to put tools in there?
