I'd like to head in that direction but to mainly see Joshua Tree NP. Was there once quite awhile ago in a cage to visit. Stayed in Palm Springs, ot far. Was there late afternoon and sunset. WOW! I didn't know the desert could be that beautiful! Would like to go bike on my bike.

 

I did end up going to this event. We went through Joshua Tree Nat.Park first on Saturday. Quite amazing place. Great ride. Entered East came out West, about3 hours with a few stops. Weather went form cool to pretty warm in Palm Springs, very nice. Checked out the vendors Saturday evening and hung out on the main drag Saturday night. A lot of people and bikes and cops, but they were cool. Had a great time but limited drinking, motel was too far towalk too. Saw more of the vendors Sunday am, small but always something new to see; some great bikes, friendly peopleall over. Great place to ride too. Left Sunday, east on the 74.First time. Went over the mountains,great ride; all the way past Hell's kitchen down to the ocean and took PCH 1 up the coast home. Weather was perfect.Over 500 milesall together. Nice weekend.Sorry I missed the meet-n-greet though in Long Beach.
