Las Vegas HDForum Members Meet
Twelve HDForum members, 3 wives and 1 guest came to the informal "Meet and Greet" last Friday night at the Buffalo Wild Wings place. We had a chance to put a face to many of the forum names that we read regularly. In attendance were: SDMF (Big Mike), Millzog (Steve B.), 58nluvnit (Tony B), VegasBiker (Shawn), VegasHD (Deven), Drchevyman (Dan), LasVegasDyno (Steve), Hal64HD (Hal), CHEDRIDER (Brad), Justkiding (Daryl) and Big Cholla (Bob). In addition VegasHD had a guest rider with him and there were three wives who didn't bother to identify themselves. We had a beer or two, some good eats and were treated very well by the Restaurant.
SDMF and Millzog rode in from the East Valley part of Phoenix. Justkiding and wife rode down from Star, Idaho. VegasBiker really extended himself and rode all of two miles to the event.
Getting together like this is a good thing. It is highly recommended for ALL HDForum members.
It was such a beautiful night weather-wise, I took the long way home and instead of the 30 miles direct, I did 51 miles going home. [8D]

Sorry Dino. I'm getting old. My finger slipped when I was transcribing the note book jottings to the keyboard. Shawn was sitting next to you. [:@] My bad! Which points out the fact that I omitted Shawn (Atexn4Christ) from the original list. I hereby resign from the position of unoffical note-taker! ..........BC

It was a pleasure to meet you guy's and gals. I had a fun time swapping stories and drooling over our bikes. Millzog and I braved the on ramps from downtown and survived to tell the tale, and made it home safe Sunday afternoon. I had a great time all-in-all, except for those 3 crazy guy's riding those tiny bikes inside that metal ball just outside my window at midnight. And the hallway of the 2nd floor of the Golden Gate smelled like A$$. And the toilet seat wouldn't stay up. And it was kinda warm inside the casino. But, other than that...[sm=smiley20.gif]

Lou: Yes, please make the next 'meet and greet' for the HDForum members. It is fun to put a face to the Forum names that we read a lot. Your name is familiar to me. I believe we have met before in some LEO briefing or another. You aren't the NDOW Game Warden that I backed up down at Placer Cove in the Mexican Gangbanger arrest are you? ..... BC

Sorry I missed the Met and greet; but had a prior engagement. I did win a little bit while I was there for bikefest. Had a great time other than my room was right next to a nightclub and speakers for the street music. I hade music 24/7. My group rode on some outstanding tours: IE: Valley of Fire, Bonnie Springs and Red Rock, and of course the pioneer soloon. For a while there I thought we were going to Cali.
We had a beautiful ride home a little windy `til Kingman then sunny all the way to Tucson. Left @ 6:20am and pulled into my driveway in the far Southeast @ 1:20pm
Hope to be able to meet some of you next year.
