Default Big Bear run cancelled, Tour Of the Twisties is ON!!!

Big Bear run cancelled [:@]
The mountain is too crazy right now with fires, rain and even some snow.

MightyWarlockhas agreed to leaduson anotherTour Of The Twisties
this Sunday 9/23 but this time to change it up, we do it BACKWARDS!@!

So if you want to ride, the meeting place for the beginning of the ridewill be the shell station at the intersection of the 2 & 210 freeways, to head up into the Angeles forest. Oh, and this time it would also include a stop over at Newcombs Ranch, and maybe the Rock Inn, we shall see.

To recap,we'll hit Newcomb's Ranch, Rock Inn, Deer Lodge, The Rock Store, and maybe Stagecoach if anyone has the time.

The Tour of the Twisties, Backwards Style. Sunday 9/23.
leaving @ 8:30amfrom the Shell station @ the 210 and the 2(angeles forest)
and in case you needed a refresher...
albeit with the wrong dates...

This is one of the best rides I have ever been on, I hope everybody will be able to make it. I'll start a new thread to try and avoid too much confusion.

Please post in the new Tour Of The Twisties thread if you would like to join this ride.

That's too bad you're going to miss out on a fun ride to go walk around at a bike show, if you change youre mind you're invited.

I'm open to any ideas you might have, I can ride all day if you guys are up for it. This could be a warm up for the rest of the day just let me know what direction you guys wouldlike the ride to go and we'll keep riding.

If we went up the other side first we could spend alot more time in the moutain by taking a rideup around Lake Arrowhead.

So we would go up the 38 to the 18 stop in Big bear for lunch, then continue on the 18 to the 173 up around Lake Arrowhead thenthat will eventually drop us onto the 138 and the 138 hits the 15 at the cajon junction, this route should be several hundred miles and if you all are up for it I would prefer this longer route myself.
