Anyone have plans for the long weekend? I rode to Santa Barbara this last weekend and had a blast. On my way home I took HWY 150 and passed by Lake Casitas and hit the Deer Lodge for some cold ones and a delicious Tri Tip Sandwich. Then took HWY 150 to Santa Paula 126 to Grimes Canyon. Great weekend ride!

Hey MRSR,

I'm in Canyon Country and am always looking for someone to ride with. I a FNG and haven't really made any good ridin' buds yet. I can usually pull off 2 or 3 Saturdays or Sundays a month but often responsibilty dictates which day(s) I can ride. But if I say I'll be there, I'll be there.

Are we talking the Rock inn off the 14?

I drove through temecula yesterday and stumbled across a fairly popular Harley dealership... Bikes everywhere...

Ok, well, Here's the deal for my plans. It's ~0630hrs on Sunday, and I'm not coming home until tomorrow. I don't know where I'm going, or where I'm staying, but I think I'll ride by the rock inn (to see if it's off the 14) then through Canyon country, maybe hit up ventura, cruise south down the coast to San Diego and then come back up the 15/215 and come home that way... I kind of want to see Pismo too though, haven't been there in a year. So who knows... If you're bored, looking to ride, you can catch me on the cell 760-608-3409

I'm going to experiment riding with a bluetooth headset. Wish me luck

That Dealership in Temecula, is Quaid's HD. My Daddy said that if you can't say something nice, Don't say anything at all. Well Quaid's has very Clean Bathrooms, but that is the only thing I use them for, It's a great place to leave a pee.

Big Oaks Lodge, The Rock Inn are off Lake Hughes Road and Boquet Canyon road, I come off Palmdale Blvd and head west, it turns into Lake Hughes Road, Bouquet is the first left hander, its a great place to ride, Not many SportBikes so the Police are rare...But use care I have seen a few Harleys go down on Boquet, I went yesterday, Great Ride, I understand a huge run will be at the Oaks next week, The Polar Bear run....I may be able to get Sunday free but not Sat, Have a blast if you hit that area today!
