I belong to a rider group from Lifestyle Cycles out of Anaheim. They post rides on Meetup.
There's a few on the upcoming calendar you might find interesting, Laughlin (overnight), Leoness Winery (Temecula), Salton Sea, Pioneer Town, etc. except that we start in Anaheim...

i've gone to Born Free twice since i moved out here. that's about as close as i've come to Anaheim. gone to the hippy killer hoedown twice. go to every car show i hear about ( few and far between ). 2 1/2 hours away for born free, 2 1/2 hours away for hippy killer hoedown.

passed on the two laughlins since i've been here since it seems just like a drinking event once you get to the casinos.
often head down to the Salton Sea.
very often up to Pioneertown and Pipes canyon whenever i just want to ride "around the block". it's only 40 mins aways. head up to Amboy, Route 66 and Roy's going east for a toot.

let me know when you're headed towards Pioneertown, i'd like to see a bunch of bikes. Pappy&Harriets, the Red Dog, and Joshua Tree Saloon are about the only biker attractions around here.

Check with Victorville HD. My son use to ride with guys who worked there.
They may not invite you on their ride. But can refer you.

Some great riding in high desert.
One of our favorite was Hwy 247 Yucca Valley / Lucerne Valley to Barstow.
Hwy 58 over Tehachapi Pass to Bakersfield
179 Inyokern and up 395 to Lone Pine
And back.

Update. Victorville Harley has new ownership. Death Valley Harley. Check with their HOG

about 1000 bikes today riding 2 by 2 down route 62 in 29 palms.

VAGOS MC funeral procession then onto the cemetary. what a beautiful sight to see so many bikes stretching for about a mile.

RIP whoever they buried. even several Mongols paying their respects.

naturally the cemetary was surrounded by county sheriffs cruisers expecting trouble. none to be had.

aha..............at least down in beaumont, you are close to civilization. closer to things of interest to be sure.

i often ride down to Whitewater park, since it is so scenic and different from the high desert . AND they have WATER there !!

if you ever come up this way, let me know and we go on a toot together.

i'm always looking for car and bike shows and there are more down your way than up by me.

i go to Born Free and Hippie Killer Hoedown and will be going to them when the time comes. wish i knew more events to go to down your way.

A bit closer, lol. If it continues the way it's been going I may need to move further away from civilization haha.

For sure I will bro. If you want I will PM you my #.

I believe they sometimes have them in Banning. They also have shows in Pomona / Fontana / San Bernardino at times as well.

I’m in Joshua Tree and head out to Amboy, salton sea, and Vegas a lot. Mostly ride alone. A couple of the guys up behind me in my neighborhood have bikes but don’t get out much. Quaid HD is where I go for stuff on the bikes, the folks there are pretty great.

i'm in Joshua Tree too. it seems Roys in Amboy, the Salton Sea are popular places to visit since nothing else exists but desert around here !

where is Quaid HD ? i noticed the dealership down in Palm Springs closed. kind of a shock, since i drove there recently and found the place empty and shuttered.
never have made it to Vegas yet.
might head down the hill today to that McCormick auction just to oogle the cars of yesteryear.

slim pickins' for places to ride around here. usually do a loop to Pipes Canyon and back just for a chance to ride the bikes.
