Default Jus Changed to Mobil1 75/90 trans

07 Streetglide, changed trans fluid today at 1100mi. Used the Mobil1 75/90 synthetic. I have to agree with the other posts I read. Seems to have quietened my fifth gear noise(which was barely noticeable). Definately noticed a difference going thru the gears. Its not as much as a clunk noise anymore. Finding neutral is also easier. I'm sold on Mobil1 for the tranny and plan to change to synthetic engine oil after few thousand more miles. Best $10 I've spent on the bike yet.

Is this the standard Mobil 1 75/90 found on the shelf at Wal Mart or does it say something about specifically made for bikes? The engine oil should say "V-Twin" but I'm wondering about the gear oil.

Mobil1 from Wal-Mart, and it doesn't say for motorcycles. I rode 80mi round trip to work today and it seriously feels like a different transmission. I plan to use Mobil1 V-twin in engine but want to rack up a few more miles before I make the switch to be sure it's broken in.

I've been using Mobil 1 75W-90 for a long time, and it's good stuff.

I also use Mobil 1 20W-50 V-Twin in the engine and primary.

It comes in the plastic bottles, and just says "Mobil 1 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Lubricant"..
