Default Food for thought...read at your own peril

This ought to get things stirred up depending upon where you come down on dino vs. synthetic. I found the part about flow rate and viscosity particularly interesting. I have my own favorite oil and you can run monkey **** in yours because I just don't care what anybody does.

Really.

I suggest this guy finds out how viscosity is measured instead of some half arsed quote from wiki.

I use synthetic oils, and they are better IMHO, but a Dino oil with a good additive package changed at shorter intervals is only a hairs breadth behind, until one starts to run high temps, like in a big old air cooled motor.
