I run Mobile 1 V-Twin in the primary and engine.

 

Am changing my fluids this weekend with Mobil1 Syn. and Mobil1 75/90 syn gear lube....the temp is supposed to be 60 by Wed....1st ride since Dec....can't wait!

 

Most any 10/30 dino will work well in the primary, preferably not synthetic.

 

Not necessarily.......10w30 motor oil has moly & friction modifiers that are not good for wet clutch applications. You want a JASO rated oil (look on the bottle) for motorcycle wet clutch applications like syn3, redline MTL, mobil1vtwin 10w40, HD formula plus.

 

i got Mobil 1 syn 75/90 for $8.88, seemed like a pretty good deal

For the trans yes........use 20w50 in the engine & primary
