Pulled the '07 deluxe out of storage today started check things over and found that there was propably only a half quart if that of oil in the oil bag. There is no evidence of an oil leak on the garage floor or anywhere on the bike. The oil was full when i pulled the bike into storage. The bike has not been started for probably four months. Could the oil have drained into the crankcase while in storage this has never happened before.

 

I bet its in the crankcase. Since you still have a little oil in the tank I would start it up for a minute or two and then recheck.
