Oil dripping from breather

Oil dripping from breather
I found oil inside breather cover and dripping onto motor,not a lot was able to wipe up, maybe 2 oil caps full. This was after 1200mile trip to Daytona and return. 2011 rgu w13k miles 103 cu. is this normal? I've only put 1500 miles on bike

Try removing half a quart of oil. It worked for me. Even with half a quart less, the oil level was still between the lines on the dipstick.

I've seen the same thing on my 96 ci and would agree with HDmikie, take out a little oil. Mine seems worse at highway cruising speeds.

Crankcase is over full...called "blow-by."

Use a turkey baster to remove the excess oil, works well.

Thanks for the info. Seems sort of obvious now. I'll defently check oil level.
