Anyone using Mobil V-Twin 20-50 in their primary on the 15 and newer twin cam bikes ? I used it in my Evo's without any issues, but the new bikes have these slipper clutch in them and i don't know if it would have any ill effects.

It's all good.
nothing more than overpriced type f is all the trick shift fluid is.

I believe it was due to clutches slipping after using synthetic fluids in the primary. Of course I don't run synthetic in anything waste of money tbh. And before anyone says oh you're losing hp etc etc let me clear your *** up I have a 4300hp blown alcohol funnycar and guess what oil I use in it? Brad Penn 50 or 70 weight and it's never had issues, in fact nhra banned the use of synthetic fluids because you can't remove it from the racing surface if it leaks.

great comparison..LOL..bet you don't go 5000 miles between oil changes in your 4300hp blown alcohol funnycar..we use synthetic primary fluid which has worked flawlessly for the last 75,000 miles in our M8s..as far as a waste of money...for the price of a couple Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino, Cappuccino, Al Pacino Starbucks Venti latte coffee drinks that last 30 minutes I can protect my powertrain inards for thousand of miles

Lmao I don't drink coffee especially liberal owned Starbucks [yuck]. Thanks anyway though. To be honest I reuse the oil from the car more than 2x. 98% of the time it's just diluted with methanol and after soa comes back clean we reuse it after running it thru a very fine filter. Only thing the fluid in a primary needs to do is keep the chain, sprockets and clutch lubed and cool. So atf works just fine. I tried the syn3 crap years ago and it made the clutch slip in 5th/6th gear rolling along at 80 hit the throttle and rpms would go up but speed never changed which told me clutch is slipping. Had it adjusted and no dice. Went back to Dino 15-40 Rotella or d/m 3 and voila it no longer slips. To each his own I guess

@OutlawFC222 Isn't there a bearing in the primary that needs oil?

I just had to comment on my primary oil change a couple of days ago.. Yesterday was the first time i had a chance to ride the bike after installing Harley's new primary gear oil in my primary.
It has made a notable difference in the clunk and shifting of the bike. I was not expecting that. No more clunking when going into first !

I have ran Mobil 20-50 v-twin and Formula plus for many years with no problem, but this stuff made a difference. Makes me wonder what RedLine or Spectro would feel like.

I recently did the 3 hole on my 05 Deuce. Prior owner only used M1 synthetic 20w50 for all 3 but the clutch was off. I switched it to Valvoline Synthetic 75-145 with its 'non-slip-additive' (on a tech's recommendation) and it smoothed out the 'clunk', allowed me to pop right into Neutral and I was able to feather the clutch with more precision.
I would not have changed it if the 20w50 was working well & it may not work the same for all bikes, but for my 05 it is Great.
It makes sense that a combustion chamber has different needs than a clutch.
