Amsoil SuperShift in tranny
So I want to switch to Amsoil on my 2011 UltraK but I have a question. The supershift oil says "Super Shift Transmission Oil" so why do most people put it in the primary????? Seems to me like it should go in the tranny. And then they put 75w 110 Gear Lube in tranny, when to me it seem like it should go in the Primary. Seems backwards...
20w50 in the motor
SuperShift in the tranny
Gear Lube in the Primary
To me this seems logical, but I'm no oil chemist. Anyone done this, or the other way around???

A lot of guys use ATF in the primary with no issues.
I would not use the Super Shift in the bike tranny.
Use the Severe Gear Synthetic Gear Lube.

So I finally got time to change the oil in my bike this weekend... and when I opened the Super Shift I could see instantly why it would not be good to use it in the tranny--it was like water! So put the Super Shift in the Primary (as others have), 20w50 in the engine, and Gear Lube in the tranny. Thanks!
