Post engine oil drain, apart from the oil tank, do I also need to add engine oil into the primary case separately?
If yes, how much?
Add separately? NO, unless you clamp off the oil feed and return to the primary. Might not be a bad idea to open the primary, clean it out, check the chain, shoe and close it back up.
