Default She's blowin' oil!

If anybody out there can help with this one, It'd sure be appreciated. My buddy had a bottom end failure on his '80 Wideglide. He rebuilt the motor himself, it starts and runs fine, but blows oil out the crankcase breather tube every time he runs it, and not just on startup, it continues to blow oil the whole time it's running. We checked and rechecked the oil line routing, and are sure we got that part right. He said he's sure he has the oil pump timing right. We're out of things to check. Anybody have any other ideas?

Have you checked to see if oil is being returned to the tank?

If it has an external oil filter, are the hoses connected correctly?

Try filling it with a half a quart less oil. My Fatboy was spewing oil out the intake until I remove some oil. My service manual calls for 3 quarts. I put in 2 1/2 quarts and the dipstick shows half way in the middle. It worked for me.
