Outer Primary Leak

Outer Primary Leak
I recently bought a 97 super glide before riding it I took it in for the 40K maintenance and had no leaks. I now have a leak from the oil drain plug (I know the problem with that leak) but have a leak from the drain plug under the outer primary. I tightened the plug and the leak stopped UNTIL I take it for a ride. Once I get back from a ride I have a decent sized puddle under the bike.
This is my first bike so I'm new to maintaining it. Is this most likely a torque issue or something that I can fix in the garage or should I bring it back to the dealership and have them address it.
If anyone has any ideas I'd really appreciate some help.

That plug is a tapered pipe plug, be careful when tightening it.
Remove the plug, clean the threads and wrap them with some teflon tape.
Follow the service manual when torquing this plug, if overtightened you can cause damage to the primary cover.
That plug is the low spot, so a leak from almost anywhere will find its way to that point.
When you refill the primary, fill it with automatic transmission fluid, that way you will know if you are leaking from the primary or the transmission, don`t worry, ATF (any type) works fine as a primary fluid.
The proper level is when the lube just touches the outer diameter of the clutch, with the bike level (not on side stand).

Thanks for the help guys. Long story short the leak was coming from the derby cover. Took it to the dealer for a new gasket and turns out there is a tiny dent in the outer primary and after multiple gaskets it still leaked so looks like a new outer primary is in my future.
