Guys, I need some help on 97 FLHRI EVO re-man motor with 6k on it...I recently had the dealer change the fluids. I put 50 miles on it by the time I got home from the oil change (the day was 70 degrees in AZ). The next time I went out, I checked the oil (I always pre-trip - ex-trucker).
How much damage is done to the motor if any?
What should I have a mechanic do to it? Compression check? Heads off? Do I ride it to a mech or tow???
I called the dealer. They sent a mech out to add oil. They haven't offered anything but state they'll do something (threw it in my court attitude). Do I get a lawyer to talk with the dealer? Or try by myself? I did write all the specifics in a fedex letter to them. But their response is no damage done (w/o looking at it) with just 50 miles on it with 1.25 qts low. Your thoughts...love to hear from Harley techs especially...

It is one way to runup a post count.
Call another dealer and ask if you should be worried.
