1977 XLCH sportster,1000, can any body help me with my oil hose lines where they go on the tank and to the pump etc, I have 3 connection nipples on the tank ,2 on the pump and one that goes to the cam side,i also have an oil cooler on the frount of the bike . There is 1 nipple on the bottem of the tank and 1 on the top just under the cap this oil will get filtered , and 1 on the top side of the tank i would say about where the top oil level should be.Thanks Brian

 

Brian, you would be better off asking in the Sportster forum. They are so busy over there not many call in here!

 

There should be 1 feed 1return and 1 vent. But I would check with a local dealer and see if they have a diagram they could make a copy for you.
