I had amsoil in my primary, not to get into details on how or who did it but my primary oil was changed or I should say emptied. Anyway I left on my way to Sturgis after 300 miles started to get a little noise in primary was still shifting ok( I only had to get on and off hiway ramps)

down the road another 400 noise a little louder but when you rev engine went away so I continued. Next day I decided to stop at Harley dealer in South Dakota have them check it out..Guess what NO OIL in primary wtf.

They could not believe I made it 1000 mi with no oil and no visible damage to compensator or clutch.Chain was stretched to limit as was shoe grooved bady. They didn't have parts in stock so they put it back together adjusted chain to full adjustment filled with oil and on my way.

Made it back home after 4500 mi so did the amsoil make this possible or was it just dumb luck.Talked to a local indy and he said he had one come in after 300 miles with no oil and it was toast.

Have since replaced everything including clutch

 

Amsoil's a good product, but not magic. Chalk it up to good luck and living right!
