I've looked all over in the city where I live and cannot find Mobil 1 VTwin oil .... where can I buy it online. Also, I'd like to use their gear lube in the tranny.

You can find it here http://store.avlube.com/motorcycle.html delivered to your door , I use it in my bike and it is a very good oil, coming from SYN3 , I see a difference, cooler, and quieter operation

I bought mine locally at Autozone. It took two trips since they don't stock more than about 6 quarts at a time (apparently).

Meinbmw, I also have bought the Mobil 1 from Autozone here in AL. You can also get them to order however much you want/need for the same price. It might take a few days, but worth it in the end. Last time I bought it, it was $7.99 a quart here.

 

AutoZone in Fort Worth has it. Do the HD dealers have any problem with you bringing your own oil for an oil change?

I contacted wal-Mart on the web by e-mail and yesterday the local store manager called to say he was trying to get some stocked in the store, and to check with them in a week or two to see if it has come in. I was impressed to say the least that I would get a favorable reply. Now, just have to wait and see if they come though.

 

I get mine for my son-in-law who is an Industrial Lube rep for Mobile. Pay 26.00 + change for a case. About 4.50 a qt.

Try autozone and wal-mart, but you may have to ask for it, they usually keep a supply in back.
