If it ain't broke . . . ?
I've got a 2000 FLSTS with 66,000 miles. It doesn't leak or burn oil, and has always used conventional oil. Is there any reason NOT to switch to synthetic oil to better prolong its life? If I switch, what's the best to use in the crankcase? What about the transmission and primary case; should I use the same as the crankcase synthetic, keep using HD transmission fluid, or do something else?
