Default Sportster TRANS oil

After reading the recent AMSOIL white papers it got me thinking more about my shared oils.

What brand Transmission/Primary oil do you use and which bike is it in?

I have a 06' 883 Sportster and after reading the white papers i'm embarrassed to say I have been running the BELRAY sportster trans oil.

Cheers!

My wife's sportster I feed it Formula +. Belray is good stuff. I use Formula+ in my primary, Mobil 1 20W50 in my jugs, and Redline in my tranny.

I have a 2007 1200C Sportster and I used to run Syn-3 in both my holes. But, several of the HD guys have recommended to me the Amsoil because they say it runs cooler in the Sportster (which it does), so now I run Amsoil in both holes.

Belray may work fine for a Sporty, Never tried it .. Ran Amsoil 20W50 for Engine/Primary/Tranny, on my last 3 Sporty's with over 100K of Good Service among the 3 ..

I like Bel-Ray but there new sport-trans oil in the black bottle is to thin. I tried it for two weeks and changed it out with there big twin trans oil. Much better shifting for me. I was using there hypoid 85-140 gear oil for the past 25,000 miles but now they do'nt reccommened it for wet clutches.
