Default Having the Jagg 10 row oil cooler delivered by the end of the week.

Just purchased the Jagg 10 row oil cooler.

Now my question. Just 500 miles ago, I just did my 10K service. I was wondering if I just took off the oil filter so I can add the Oil cooler and the adapter, How much oil am I going to lose ?

I never took off the oil filter without dumping the oil first. Will I lose a lot or just whats sitting in the filter.

Thanks

I put mine on without dumping the oil first. I did ruin the filter when I removed it. I have no idea how much I lost between the filter and whatever came out when I removed the stock filter adapter. Just start it up and after pressure comes up and you check for leaks, then shut it off and check level. I had an extra qt on hand, if I remember correctly I used 1/2 qt of it to bring it back up to where I run it(3/4 of the way to full)
