RE: Oil Blow by
Phantom,
If I understand the problem, you haven't solved your problem either. Sounds like the air filters get saturated with oil and then drip. If you replace the filter, once it gets saturated, it will drip.
My '05 isn't dripping yet, but I'm guessing it will in time...not sure...am I out to lunch on this one?

RE: Oil Blow by
Kevin, my bike uses no oil consumption, but has blow by. It's pretty hard to get the oil mist out of the air returning on a upward push of a piston on a big twin. Everyone that I know that owns a air cooled twin, regardless of it's an HD or not has experianced that problem after about 40,000, so that's all I can judge by. I expect it to happen, so I don't consider it a problem, just life. Supposedly TP Engineering engines seperate oil from the air in the crankcase, but I have only read the propoganda, and haven't seen the proof yet.

Guy's I'm telling ya, I seen S&S talk about it on American Thunder the other day and seen in magazine's that they have a cure for it, Ultra give them a call at least and see what they say.[sm=goodidea.gif]

The S&S is one solution but cannot be installed if your using a feuling pump. I had some on my 99' RK after I did my 95 build. It had the older style SE air filter backing plate that had the vent fitting at around the 4 or 5 o'clock position. I drilled two holes just above the intake and with the appropriate fittings and hoses vented each one to one of the banjo fittings (procured at the dealer) seperately. I also upgraded the cam chest venting to the newer style (02 and above, I think) that takes it back to the filler spout.
No further issues.]
A lot of TC's do this. You just got to play around with it a little.

[b]Here's the Cure, Papamte.
I am having trouble with my '00 Sporty 1200 with 13200 miles. The engine was converted over to the 1200 from the 883 @ 3500 miles. My problem is that I have oil puking out of the hose ( overflow?) that runs under the seat. My air cleaner had some oil on the bottom side. Seems as though when I get about 50 miles into a ride, the oil starts blowing out of the hose. Does anyone have any experience with one of these type of breather kit's made by Drag Specialties?
The perfect fix if you have excessive oil in your air filter or breather

If you use the seperate head vents instead of the crossover pictured above, you will get better venting because twice as much venting can take place through two vents as one. The screamin eagle kits are an good example of this with the two seperate "S" shaped vent hoses that over hang the intake.
