i change 2500 miles force of habit.does not matter what they do today .i like rideing the highway and i feel better . and that is all three it dont cost that much.and some time when you have time .look at your oil at 500,1000,1500,2000, then look at it at 2500 and you will know why and i dont care what kind of oil you use .oil is the heart of any motor cleaner the better.

As I said above I am going to stick with the 2.5K intervals for the engine and filter, and then change tranny and primary at 5K. I figure it's the cheapest insurance I can buy. I will go back with the Syn 3 again this time in the engine. I may change over to something else at the next oil change when I change all three.

It really depends on how often you take short trips.If you take short trips your motor will not warm properly to expell condensation and that is a killer to any oil. Its even more important if you live in cooler climates.
