leaking braded oil lines

leaking braded oil lines
I know that someone has the solution to this. I'm on my third set of braided oil lines on my '02 Heritage Springer. All three started leaking from the point where the braided line enters the fitting on the line that runs from the bottom of the oil tank to the engine.
Is there something that the dealer is missing, or is this just a problem with using braided lines. The fittings to the engine are tight.
Is there some type of o-ring that needs to be replaced that would stop the leak from this location?? I'm about ready to have the dealer revert back to the stock lines. By the way, all previous installations were by the dealer.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Ken

RE: leaking braded oil lines
Are these true braided lines where the fitting is factory pressed onto the line or the braided line that has the hidden hose clamp arrangement?....................BG

These are dealer installed HD lines. The fittings are compressed from the line to the screw in fitting. The only one that keeps on leaking is the bottom line from the bottom of the oil tank to the engine. It's leaking from the compression attachment. I haven't had trouble with the others.

kenn101 Is the dealer who installed these lines aware of your ongoing problem with this particular braided line and if so what does he feel is the problem and or solution? Surely not another line from the same manufacturer. Also a call to the manufacturer may yield better results as they may have had a batch of bad lines...................BG

The dealer's attitude is that they will gladly sell me another set of lines. As always--they really don't care--something about the "extreamly limited warranty" because of my living in Florida---that's exactly what I've been told. Too much heat / humidity / salt air ect.
Typical
Anyway--on to the stock lines I guess
Thanks
