RE: Missing oil?
I called and asked if the replacement seals were of the same brand and the person who answered the phone said that they are not the same seals used in the production line. I guess i will know in another 3200 miles. lol

RE: Missing oil?
Welcome to the forums from the Arizona Highlands. Sorry to here about the problem with the oil. I don't seem to have that problem, but I'll be checking my oil a lot more often now.

RE: Missing oil?
Hi CobraKid, you should have your scoot back in no time. mine was in on a Monday morning and put back together to include a wash and a test ride by Wednesday late afternoon. i picked my scoot up early Thursday morning. she seems to be running great but now im paranoid "i check the oil every time i stop for gas" so far so good.

RE: Missing oil?
Well i'm still ridin and the oil "so far so good" and she is sounding much better, the more i ride the better the sound out of my SE 16 gauge but i must say that on this past sunday my ride ended short, i cought a screw on my rear tire. I got on I81 exit 48 "Fort Drum exit" heading south towards Syracuse, 10 min into the ride "something" told me to get off I81, so i did and as soon as i merge to the right i felt the bike wobble, i was like "what the hell" so i looked at the front wheel and i saw nothing out of the ordinary with it so i moved on and all of a sudden the bike just slipped from under me i managed to keep her upright so on my second inspection i realized that i had a rear flat "bummer" but i t was a good thing i listened and got off I81 or else it would not have been a pretty sight. Anyways i called HOG road assist, the tow truck got there within the hour, picked up my scoot and took it to Iron Block HD on exit 42 on I81. i was 4 miles away "not bad" they replaced the rear tube in 1 1/2 hrs the tech test road it and let me tell you she does "purr".
