getting readuy to change oils (primary and tranny). What comes pre-filled (tranny oil that is) in new bikes? --i'm thinking i will keep using what is in there since i have no issues

 

I would change it. You probably have some metal shavings in there from break in. Use a good gear oil and then leave it in for 1 or 2 years or 15000 miles.
I use Bel-ray Big Twin gear oil.

 

For the Tranny I use Redline Shockproof Heavy,,,For the Primary Redline MTL

 

I had to read that again..... if your bike is not a CVO than it has Formula plus in it.

 

Get any 75w90 or 80w90 GL5 gear oil and put it in there for 15-20,000 miles or 3 years
